Lubricate Garage Door Hinges

Lubricate Garage Door Springs
Spray lubricant on the springs and bearing plates as well. The springs are usually located at the top of the garage door and need to be fully lubricated as well. The bearing plates are the round parts that move on either side of the springs. Spray lubricant on the springs and then on the center of the bearing plates. Then try to open and close the door to spread the lubricant evenly. If the spring is broken or bent, it's best to replace it with a new one before lubricating.
