On February 14, 2025, while the world was celebrating the romantic vibe of Valentine's Day, the Xufeng Door team had no time to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. The Xufeng Door team arrived at the RIYADH FRONT EXHIBITION & CONVENTION CENTER in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Today's installation task included setting up one sample display stand and two sets of garage door samples, and we had to finish everything before 6:00 PM, making time very tight.
The Setup Challenges Begin
After arriving at booth HALL4 BOOTH 4C78, we found that the wooden crates were placed exactly where we needed to set up. To make things worse, our unpacking tool—a Phillips screwdriver—was missing, which made us feel quite nervous.
Searching for Tools
We searched around and tried to borrow tools from nearby exhibitors, but unfortunately, none of them had what we needed. Finally, a kind young man who only spoke Arabic lent us the tool we required.
Unpacking and Installation
Once we got the tool, we opened the wooden crates, took out the items one by one, moved the empty boxes out of the way, and cleared the installation area. Then, we began setting up the booth.
Challenges During Installation
During the installation, we encountered a few problems.
First, the power cord we needed had not been connected.
Second, the garage door top frame was 1 cm shorter than our display stand, which limited the space available for installation.
With time running out, we had to adjust the stand inward and proceed step by step. Luckily, the stand's size fit perfectly within the installation area—there was no extra space, but it worked out in the end.
Overcoming an Unexpected Problem
As we continued the sectional garage door installation, we found that the L-shaped angle iron wouldn’t fit completely and needed to be trimmed by about 1 cm. With no cutting tools nearby, we thought of a solution: we decided to create a hole in the backboard so the angle iron could fit properly. This clever fix allowed us to solve the problem and move forward.
Conclusion
Despite the challenges and time pressure, we successfully completed the booth setup. It was a race against time, but thanks to teamwork and quick thinking, we’re ready for the exhibition.
